ToothGuard Junior™ is a scientifically developed oral probiotic made specifically for children. It helps protect teeth and gums from bad bacteria by crowding them out - leaving them nowhere to hide in your little one’s mouth. 

The mouth is a constant battleground – on a daily basis, billions of invading bad bacteria attempt to displace the natural and beneficial bacteria of the mouth, teeth and gums. This causes a change or imbalance in the normal bacteria in our mouths and can affect the health of our teeth and gums.

It’s hard enough to get kids to brush their teeth, let alone do a good job of it. Even on properly brushed teeth, the bad bacteria that cause tooth decay will find a place to hide.

With a great taste children will enjoy, simply dissolve one lozenge in the mouth 1 - 2 times a day, ideally after brushing, to allow the bacteria to colonise and crowd out the bad guys from doing any damage to their teeth and gums. 

ToothGuard Junior™ contains BLIS M18®, a new generation of advanced oral probiotic, developed from a specific strain of beneficial bacteria called Streptococcus salivarius that is found to occur naturally in the healthy mouths of adults and children.  While everyone has this bacteria in their oral cavity, very few have high quantities of the specific Streptococcus salivarius M18 (BLIS M18®) strain.

Yes, both use BLIS M18®, the strain discovered to specifically support teeth and gum health, and they both contain 2.50 billion CFU/dose. The only difference is adult ToothGuard® has natural peppermint flavour (which many children don't like), so ToothGuard Junior™ was developed with natural strawberry flavour, a flavour kids (and adults) will actually enjoy.

They work well together. DailyDefence Junior™ (BLIS K12®) supports ear, nose and throat health, while ToothGuard Junior™ (BLIS M18®) supports teeth and gums, so between them you're covering different parts of your child's oral health.

ToothGuard Junior™ is designed to support a healthy bacterial balance alongside good brushing habits, but it isn't a treatment for existing decay. Any current dental concerns are always best checked with your child's dentist.
