What is Advanced Immune Defence?
True immune defense requires a targeted approach. Science shows your immune system is heavily influenced by microbial balance, not just in the gut but, critically, in the oral cavity or the mouth and throat.
The Role of Probiotics in Immunity
The mouth and throat are the body's first line of defence. When the oral microbiome is disrupted, natural defences can be compromised. Our specific probiotic strains target this area, providing critical support for immunity health. This is essential for overall health, just as managing your dental probiotics is for teeth and gum care.
BLIS Probiotics®: Pioneering Targeted Immune Support
We have spent over 30 years understanding the link between the oral microbiome and your overall system. Led by Professor Emeritus John Tagg's research, we pioneered unique solutions to support probiotics for immune health. For the younger members of the family, we also have specific probiotics for kids.
Our patented strains, including BLIS K12® (Streptococcus salivarius K12), thrive in the mouth and throat. These beneficial bacteria:
- Actively ‘crowd out’ harmful bacteria.
- Produce natural antimicrobial compounds.
- Support innate immune defences, strengthening your first line of defence.
