HoneyBLIS™ lozenges contain BLIS K12®, a strain of advanced oral probiotics that support your mouth’s immune defences by crowding out bad bacteria in your oral cavity and re-populating it with good bacteria.

Unique to New Zealand, Manuka honey is produced from the flowers of the Manuka and Kamahi trees, the New Zealand varieties of Tea Trees. Traditionally used in Maori pharmacopeia, New Zealand Manuka has long been valued for its health-maintaining effects.

Kamahi honey, also unique to New Zealand, is valued for its fresh, sophisticated bush aroma. It is a rich and smooth honey, with a soothing effect for the throat.

HoneyBLIS™ utilises BLIS K12®, a new generation of advanced oral probiotics, developed from a special strain of beneficial bacteria called Streptococcus salivarius that is found to occur naturally in the mouths & throats of healthy adults and children. While everyone has this bacteria in their oral cavity, very few have high quantities of the specific strain Streptococcus salivarius K12 (BLIS K12®).

This product is developed and manufactured by our good friends G&S under strict quality control systems in Nelson, New Zealand.

HoneyBLIS® pairs BLIS K12® with the soothing power of New Zealand Manuka and Kamahi honey - each lozenge contains a minimum of 89% honey per lozenge. Together they help support your mouth's immune defences by crowding out bad bacteria, while the honey soothes your throat along the way.

HoneyBLIS® contains a honey product, and Western Australia has biosecurity rules around importing honey. That means orders containing HoneyBLIS® currently cannot be processed to WA addresses.

Both use BLIS K12® with Manuka and Kamahi honey. The Ginger Extract version adds a warming kick of ginger for extra throat-soothing comfort, while this one keeps things simple with honey alone.
